I've finally finished my army outfit!
Just had this idea that I needed to look like a fetish 1940s soldier on leave ;)

Corset: Simplicity 9769

Commersial pattern, (will get you the make and number some other day, my stuff is in a mess and I can't be bothered looking for it right now). But I used a very weird fabric for it. It's stretch drill, hence it stretches...(yeah I know, somewhat obvious...) Anyway, the corset became way to big. I've taken it in 12 centimetres and I can still lace it tight. I can't reduce it any more now or I'll have to loose panels.

I did indeed. Used patterns for everything except the cap which I had to create a pattern for myself. I have a kind of handwritten diagram for how to make the cap and any millenium now I'll put it on the computer and upload it to DA.

Thanks! Did you check out the pics in 's gallery? Those pictures are actually much better. We had a bit of a tussle about who got what pictures. It was only his lovely flash design for this that made it OK ;)

anyway, just stopped by, to thank for all those kind words..
they actually helped a lot...
we all have stupid phases like this, and I'm sure that when I become more independent
i will not complain about this type of things again!
